This short animation was produced in a studio which focused on the theme of liminality as it relates to conceptions of place. The composition is the result photographing of a series of walks in my neighborhood with a polaroid camera. After developing photos, I experimented with a series of analog post-processing techniques that demonstrate the idea of "essence within senescence", or reducing the definition and fidelity of the original similar to fading memory. No digital alterations to the images were made, only scanning, scaling, and printing.
