Abbey is rooted between towering Ponderosa pine stands and vast sagebrush scablands in North Central Washington State. With a deep respect and curiosity for the stories embedded in these landscapes, she views design as a means to engage with the region's constantly evolving narrative. Abbey holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Montana and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she was named an Olmsted Scholar.
